Some useful chess links:

CAWA: Chess Association of Western Australia. Here you can see the major WA tournaments that are held each year in Perth.

Lichess: (Pronounced lee-chess) Free and open source platform. While there are several online chess sites / apps, this is my personal favourite because you can use the chess engine to analyze all your games for free, occasionally watch Magnus Carlsen play bullet chess live, or create and view custom studies. There is also a kid-friendly mode. Once you have created an account, you can join our Lichess Team for online tournament play.
